[UPDATED BELOW]
The Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education at the U.S. Department of Education has released the estimated amounts each State will be awarded for FY 2016 under the formula grant program authorized by Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA), Title II of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

These funds will become available July 1, 2016.
The total funding for formula grants to the states has increased approximately 4% from FY 2015, the result of a $13 million dollar increase in the state grant line item and the elimination of incentive grants, which made an $10 million of these funds available for formula grant funding.
The actual increases for each state will vary from 3.5%-5% based upon the population changes that have taken place over the past year.
Updated 5/10/16 2:15 pm: Despite the overall increase, it appears that some states actually saw reductions in their allocation due to population shifts.
